The Marketing Analyst will have an integral role in delivering marketing insights by evaluating the effectiveness of various marketing tactics and campaigns. The Analyst will work closely with each member of the marketing team and outside vendors to evaluate campaigns using key performance indicators such as lifetime value, acquisition cost, attrition, retention, and ROI. They will have the opportunity to help develop successful marketing plans using marketing automation tools. The Marketing Analyst will use SQL to query large databases and use additional tools to analyze those results. The Marketing Analyst must be extremely skilled in analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign, utilizing marketing automation, and the ability to create reports with clear actionable items.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background working with data as well as the creativity to find hidden connections and the drive to track them down. We are a growing company and the analyst will have the opportunity to help build and tailor information and systems as we continue to grow and diversify.


  1. Heavily involved with creation and use of consumer database
  2. Utilize marketing automation tools and create online customer journeys
  3. Assess and evaluate LTV and ROI of various campaigns and tests
  4. Use data to recognize and analyze patterns in client behavior
  5. Develop, organize and maintain reports daily and identify and diagnose any reporting errors in data
  6. Create predictive models to forecast patterns in consumer behavior
  7. Develop and present strategic insights through analysis of key metrics and present actionable recommendations
  8. Interpret results and create visualizations for presentation to senior leadership
  9. Coordinate with our technology team and across multiple marketing channels to keep the flow of business intelligence strong and fluid
  10. Pulls specific datasets for deeper statistical analysis
  11. Produces actionable deliverables (e.g. scorecards, ad hoc and project summary reports) to support strategic planning activities
  12. Interprets industry and historic customer data and trends to provide insight into both completed projects as well as strategy for future efforts
  13. Writes preliminary and final reports
  14. Presents project specific findings to team members and collects feedback
  15. Researches new analytic tools and techniques to further increase knowledge base and incorporate new learnings into Marketing Insights practice
  16. Contribute to the team in other ways as necessary

Minimum 3 years of professional marketing experience and with 2 year minimum of marketing analysis experience, minimum 2 years using an marketing automation tool, and a Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred
