The Compensation Consultant is responsible for developing new sales, managing implementations, and providing support and service for our compensation software, Compease. This position will work with new and existing clients of all sizes and from all industries to promote, sell, ensure successful implementation, and ongoing use of Compease, applying a consultative sales approach.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Compease.
  • Prospect and build a sales pipeline through management of leads generated by marketing initiatives via outbound calling, email communications, and networking.
  • Schedules and conducts webinar/in person demonstrations to demonstrate new products and present proposals to generate leads.
  • Work with other consultants and with product support specialists to schedule and deliver both soft skills training and technical end-user Compease training.
  • Coordinate with the compensation analyst to take ownership of the implementation of Compease.
  • Work with the client to establish timeframes, assess compensation needs, and deliver the application and provide training.
  • Evaluate client/prospect goals and objectives and makes solution recommendations, including processes, programs and products, to meet the needs of the client/prospect.
  • Document all communication attempts, conversations, and email exchanges with clients in the CRM application and on applicable spreadsheets.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
  • Two to five years HR Experience, including experience in compensation.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong computer skills with work experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel 25%.
